In the previous article, we mainly talked about the influence of the chemical composition of the material on the thermal conductivity of the insulating ceramic fiber blanket. In this issue, we mainly introduce the influence of the influence of material pores on the thermal conductivity of insulating ceramic fiber blanket.
2. Influence of material pores
The number, size, shape and distribution of the pores contained in the material have an effect on the thermal conductivity. The gas in the pores has a low thermal conductivity, so the larger the porosity is, the smaller the thermal conductivity is within a certain temperature limit and porosity. For example, the fiber and the fiber of the insulating ceramic fiber blanket are directly interlaced to form more pores. When the heat passes through the insulating ceramic fiber blanket, it needs to pass through numerous staggered pores, so most of the heat will not be transmitted, thereby achieving a good heat preservation effect.
In this issue, we mainly introduced the effect of material pores on the thermal conductivity of insulating ceramic fiber blanket. In the next issue, we mainly talk about the effect of temperature on the thermal conductivity of insulating ceramic fiber blanket.
