Application of ceramic fiber insulation paper in automobile industry

In the design of the car, ceramic fiber insulation paper is used instead of stone paper, and MEIYUAN ceramic fiber insulation paper is installed on the front and exhaust pipes of the automobile engine to isolate the flame and absorb the exhaust gas. The exhaust gas complies with the exhaust emission standards.

Ceramic fiber insulation paper for engine exhaust pipes is mainly composed of alumina and silica. It has many different forms of products. These ceramic products work continuously at 1450 C high temperature, and have the advantages of low thermal conductivity, chemical corrosion resistance, good sound absorption performance, vibration resistance, light weight, fire resistance and non-combustion.

In the front part of the double exhaust pipe of the automobile engine, especially the exhaust pipe, the inner pipe is wrapped with MEIYUAN ceramic fiber felt, and then the metal casing is placed outside the thin felt. MEIYUAN ceramic fiber insulation paper and fiber mat are made into the cushion of the sound absorber, which plays the role of silencing and sound insulation. Ceramic fiber insulation paper and fiber mat can also be used as the interlayer of the ceramic paper sound insulation layer.

In addition, MEIYUAN ceramic fiber insulation paper has become a new material for the manufacture of clutch brake pads, which is incorporated into new heat-resistant plastics to form a heat shield at the bottom of the car.
